TikTok says finds no proof of reported user data leak

MOSCOW, Sep 5 (PRIME) -- TikTok has conducted an investigation of a possible leak of its user data and has not found any proof of a breach of the platform’s security, a spokesperson for the Russian division of the social network told PRIME on Monday.

“Confidentiality and safety of the user data are TikTok’s key priority,” the spokesperson said.

Telegram channels earlier reported that databases of Chinese services TikTok and WeChat of more than 2 billion records of their users were compromised.
